I am an abstract painter, secondary art educator, and nature & city lover. Abstraction has been a passion for a while now. I never tire of working a composition; its layers, color combinations and mark making. Over time, I have found that I enjoyed painting on wood more than canvas. One day I got the idea to make magnetic puzzles and add something unique and functional to my work. My latest work involves working with a CNC machine so that the magnetic - yes magnetic pieces are interchangeable. It also gives me the chance to work with all kinds of power tools! I never tire of coming up with new designs. The puzzles are fun to solve but they are also beautiful as abstract artwork when unsolved. The magnets also make them extra fun to work with. I hope you enjoy looking at my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
